I found them on Ebay and it seems you get a lot of bang for your buck. They have over 20000 feedback and have 100% positive. They have been in business since 1989 and seem pretty reputable. Any thoughts?

I've never bought any lights from them, but their heavy duty light stands were top notch when they carried them. They have a web site too.

I purchased two Britek lights from him several years ago (2002). Unfortunately, one arrived DOA and the other one went "fffzzzzttt" and started smoking within the first hour of setting it up and never worked again. That put me off Britek lights forever.

However, before I returned them, I called and spoke to Mr. Kaeser and he agreed to to pay return shipping so that I was out not one penny. Even though the product I purchased wasn't any good, the service I received was top notch.

Maybe his products have now been 'stepped up' to match his customer service.

Just an update. I bit the bullet and ordered the kit. I must say, I am extremely impressed! Everything is very well made, sturdy and better than I expected for what I paid. Even down to the bag. (there are even individual bags for each stand). It came with an extra fuse and modeling lamp for each light. I took approx. 30 shots of the same shot just to compare output. It was dead on consistant. I know that I could have paid alot more for a "professional" kit. but as someone learning the ins and outs of studio lighting, it is a great, inexpensive way to get into the profession and obtain professional results. I am very, very happy!

Mine work great! I went with constant on lights since I also shoot occasionally in video. I have his two 1200 watts with umbrellaskit and his 900 watt softbox. All work well but are a bit hard to transport since they are a bit more massive than a conventional flash head. They don't fly overhead well for the same reason.

I bought mine just the way you are talking about. S. K. lighting kit on EBAY. I love it, have no complaints, have had it for about 2-3 years now, still going strong. I would recommend.

Thumbs up Re: Does anyone have any expreience with steve kaeser lighting kits?

Hello Steve,

I purchased a couple of your softbox/umbrellas a few years back, and am very pleased with them.
