Nice shots. I especially like lighting on the Chivas Regal bottle. Perhaps the Chivas bottle should be in the center of the brightest part of the bkgd glow and the empty bottle on the side in a darker area. It would bring the attention to the product.

The Coke bottle seems a bit under lit to me. Coca Cola has a patent on their uniquely shaped bottle and if you look at their commercial shots you'll find that they go to great lengths to highlight, at least to some degree, all of those unique facets. Check it out sometime. I'd also like to see some spritz, moisture and ice particles clinging to the bottle to emphasize the, cool, wet refreshing nature of their product.

You can use a mixture of water and glycerin for the spritz and you can buy ice powder and acrylic ice cubes from the Set Shop or Trengove Studios in NYC. Here's a shot as an example....

thats for reply, yeah it was just a quick test shot

with the chivas, i wanted to have a glass with ice half filled next to it but the chivas bottle wasnt cracked open so i thought i'd just go with what i had.

but i'll try the ice/wet look next time.

these are the first ones i've ever done with studio lighting.

Very nice job for the first time with studio lighting. Like I said, I really like the light on the Chivas bottle. Try the Coke bottle again with some white foamcore reflectors around the sides of the bottle.

I noticed you didn't show the OOF shot you got after mixing these two together and then drinking them
