Default Twist Flex Backgrounds

Thought I would share the knowledge....

Denny Mfg, makes these portable backgrounds called Twist Flex, and I have to say I love them so much that I have endorsed them here in the forum! They fold up, fit into a bag, and can be carried with you. If you have not heard of them, then its worth a quick look on the website. No, I dont work for them, lol, I just love the product.

Denny Manufacturing

These are also available from Westcott (Untitled Document) and Botero (availble through B&H). Some have a "fold out" extension so that they can be used for full-length images.

Very useful in many situations.

Fold out extensions? Thats a novel idea they have come up with. Might have to try one of those! Thanks for the links!

One thing I like the twist out frames for is Chromakey.

I have the Lastolite full length double sided one.. I think it's Colorado/Nevada. I've actually used it maybe 3 times. I have the 3/4 length B/W that I wish was the full length one. Live and learn. Both are great quality though.

The bad part is that, for me, backdrops smaller than 10 x 20 aren't very useful except for work with child portraits or single person portraits. That's why muslins are so useful.

I'd also say that many of the black and white ones, I wish, were thicker. Makes you want to use vinyl.

The one with the train is fine for individuals and couples.

It's hard to fold up a vinyl BG and take it with you!
Also the full length ones will self support if you're stuck.
