There are a lot of photographers who enjoy working with the female form, both nude and clothed, who consider it a challenging art form.

You may have some issues with "the temptation to "sample the wares" (not to mention the bulge you may have of your own!)" but some of us are professionals are are more concerned with the images.

As for how many women want to be photographed nuded... about 3/4 of my clients want intimate portraits, both male and female.

I've never noticed any color shift in my units dialing them down. I'll have to look in to that.

Take care,

What are the rules here on photocamel about showing nudity?

Does anyone have any experience with White Lightening equipment. I have read some good reviews, but is it worth the extra over AlienBees? I'm certainly not flush with cash, but I could come up with the extra, so it isn't a case of limiting my equipment to upgrade. I'm hoping to do more than just amateur work within the next couple of years.
Thanks.

Nudity is looked down on, except in the glamour/ erotic forum. You have to ask the mods to gain access.

AB and WL are made by essentially the same people. There are probably build quality differences and features that set the two lines apart but should not be major items.

Glenn,

Just as an alcoholic must avoid bars and liquor stores, I must avoid photographing nude women.

I find this statement a little disturbing. Is it safe for you to be with women with clothes on? Swimsuits? What happens? Do you attack them?

Glenn,

I have been in business for 25 years. I would not still be in business if I could not be trusted around clothed women, or women in swimsuits.

About 15 years ago, I had an exceptionally beautiful woman approach me and asked me to shoot some nudes for her new husband, so I agreed. During the shoot I was quite proud that I was able to stay detached from what was going on, that is until she laid down and looked seductively up at me with her "come hither" eyes. I was shocked and surprised at what my mind was screaming at me to do. I ended the session after that shot (I was also at the end of the roll of film, and I DIDN'T reload the camera!) I haven't done another nude since.

I understand where you are coming from Benji...however in my case I am NEVER alone w/any of the women, make-up, director and always have assistants that have earned the right to enjoy some eye candy. We've done Gentlemens's Club Calanders and Escort Service Ad's in the past w/o incident. After awhile you simply get used to it and concentrate on the lighting...I do have a few to show but not sure where I ought to post or even if I should post them! Basically topless and silicone heaven!!! lol
My oldest son saw a test print of one of the calander girls...she was topless, had a thong and those high platform boots...you know what he said? "Gee Dad, she's got big boots!) If that ain't a chip of the old block I don't know what is!!
