Took this yesterday while visiting Harrison Hot Springs BC.

Thank you Greg. So true Greg. This is the Miami river, it flows into Harrison Lake, then Harrison Lake flows into the Fraser River, which is affected by the tides. So the Miami often appears to stop flowing depending on the tide levels.

Thank you Lyn. The temp was just above freezing there, which is great as we have had below freezing weather for a couple of weeks here recently.

Most of the image was probably lit with blue sky, though the mountain itself had sun on it and didn't render with the bluish cast of the rest of the image. Does give the image a cold feel to it though.

Thanks for your observations Alan. The shot was taken just before sunset that evening which gave the mountain that pinkish cast.
