I watched the shadows moving over wheat fields in western Oklahoma a number of years ago. I just pulled off the road and enjoyed, I am not sure a camera would have captured the moment. The clouds must have been only 1 or 2 thousand ft up and moving at 30 or 40 mph.
I did wish I had a camera a few years later when I pulled over and counted 4 rainbows caused be storm clouds moving through the same area. People were pulling off of the road to enjoy the show being put on by the late afternoon sun and the storm clouds and rain in the distance.
