Default Shooting in Rain

Well I don't wish to dampen your spirits but I have to say that it rained all day over most of Victoria.
I actually love shooting in the rain, more so than under bright blue sunny skies.
It was all I needed to get me barrelling down the freeway to Benalla.

This is Benalla's main street, not unlike Wang's but the town is somewhat smaller.

I headed for the Botanical Gardens lake and found some unspoiled flowers therein.

The ducks were having a wonderful time, the rain was just water off a duck's back.

Blossom glistening with raindrops. With the approaching northern winter don't miss the photo ops.

Finally a brilliant splash of red Japonica and I was ready to call it a day.

OMD M5 Mkii with 14-150mm F4-5.6

We should all take more advantage of adverse weather conditions. Nice work...

Jim, Mike, Gehutch. Yes, I agree, bad weather does provide the photographer with a totally different set of photo opps - provided you don't mid getting wet to the pelt!

Of course, you should take care that your equipment doesn't take on more water than it can handle.

No worries Scoundrel, OMD bodies and Olympus lenses are weather sealed.
