Default Autumn Toddler

Last weekend I grabbed a flash, shoot through umbrella and camera then popped to the local woods with our little one (almost 2 years 10 months). Here are 3 faves showing some of her different characters.

1 The fun

2 The cute

3 The pensive

If one gets past the bright watermark, The first one is truly fun and would be even better with yellow or orange leaves, and the last one is very nice and probably a favorite. Not so much the middle one because of the tilt in it (that might just be me).

Gorgeous! Your daughter is beautiful in your captured moments. I think it would be nicer if you can improve your watermark. hehe.

Simple lighting, beautiful child, natural looking processing--what's not to like. Nicely done Mr. Smith.

I new but for what it is worth, I like the 2nd image. The eye contact is the kicker! Not easy to get with little ones. I would suggest toning down the watermark. Nice images!

Stunning! And good decision to use flash, I believe it adds so much to an outdoor photo!

I have made time to evaluate the images and after much thought I can't help but to offer yet another point of view on these photos and the subject they contain.

Many of us post our photos here so that we may illicit some comment or another from other photographers. I do it so that I may glean more technical methods that perhaps will lead to perfection. Something that may never be within my reach.

However, in this case I see and yes perhaps even feel that in the eye of the photographer perfection had already been achieved some "(almost 2 years 10 months ago"! Perhaps Mr. Smith is just subconsciously in his own way trying to share it with us.

Thank you so much for sharing. It brought a smile to my face and a warmth within me that would have otherwise been a dark, cold and dreary day.
