Default Split Tone or other?

Hello all,
I am hoping you can help with this question. I am linking (hopefully) to an Getty image that I believe the edit was split toned. Can anyone confirm?
If not, can you explain technique? Much appreciated.

Typically, create 2 layers, usually cool
toning the shadows, and warm toning
the midtones and highlights. Finish by
flattening the image.

I can only remark what is typical, cuz
I won't follow links. If you would post
the image here, that would be more
appropriate.

There might even be a plug-in to split
tone with just a coupla sliders.

Thank you. I didn't want to upload a photo that is not mine so I thought a link to Getty images would be ok. Any suggestions?

I would have done as you did, PSK, to stay away from copyright violations myself and keep PhotoCamel out of trouble too. You could also reproduce the effect as Golem has suggested.

Reeeeally ??

Maybe we can revive it. Here's a
surefire idea ... which is quite OT,
and therefor sure to run about 7
pages long.

Yo ! Scoundrel ... wanna re-run the
well worn old argument of Fair Use
vs actual Copyright Violations ? I'll
post an image owned by Getty, AP,
or some other archive, so they can
then sue ... or not sue. And then
one of us gets to say "Told you so",
and the other can make up excuses
and far fetched rationalizations like
a defeated politician.
