Default OLD 35 MM SLIDES

I have hunderds of old slides from the 60's, 70's & 80's. The converter has saved them as TIFF files. Isit possible to convert to JPEG?

Yes, if you have photoshop or some other image editing software. Just open the tiff file, select "file>save as" and select jpeg as your file type.

FastStone Image Viewer is a VERY GOOD and FREE program that has a batch convert as one of it's many great features. Use it to convert in groups rather than one at a time.

It's worth taking the short time to download and install it. Also worth the much longer time learning to use the features that you like. I use it for photo file management, my everyday picture viewer, a animated GIF creator, and occasionally to overlay notes and graphics on photos or to highlight stuff on net screen captures I've made.

Another good free download is Irfanview. I use it in preference to other image editors because it is fast and convenient.

My vote is for Irfanview freeware (#1) or Fastone freeware (#2). I save HDR images in TIF and then convert them to JPEG using these programs.

Another vote for Irfanview. I use it to convert from nef to tiff or jpeg. Easy to use and free to download.
