New Topaz B&W Effects Plug In

Anyone interested in discussing the use of, and exchanging tips and tricks, swapping presets, and learning all we can from this powerful addition to our digital arsenal?

Looking at the NIK Silver Efex for the past few days, coincidentally... I have PS Elements, so have to use what works with that. I've seen lots of good conversions with the NIK product, what is different about Topaz?

I didn't push this, Clare, because I read that it would take away from the other forums. It was mentioned that perhaps make it a sticky in the B&W forum, as opposed to a group.
I don't care either way. All I wanted was a way for those of us that use it to be able to compare and discuss techniques, or whatever.

What do you think?

Most notably, the price. I have a code to get it for $30 through 10/3. Considering it myself at that price.

Just enter the coupon code "bwandbeyond" when purchasing. Expires October 3, 2011

Well, right off the bat, it's much less expensive to buy. I have used it for about a month and I must say that I love it!

I just need to learn all the ins and outs.

I have a NIK Efex that came with my Wacom tablet, but honestly don't use it.

It should work in Elements OK, but I would check the web site to be sure.

It is still available at the reduced price for a couple of more days.

Yes, just checked my email...that is correct.

You ought to give it a shot, I think you will love it!

Maybe we could ask Kate, and see what she thinks.

I have both NIK Silver Efex + Topaz B/W.
Nik is far better.
