Default Columbia River

Taken in Washington state close to the Canadian border on a hazy rainy day...

Faultless composition and one can only wonder how it would look on a good day. Nevertheless, you made the best of a bad day. I guess the original 0EV shot looked impossible!

Once photography enters your bloodstream, it is like a disease.

Software: Too numerous to list but my most used utility is ShiftN for perspective correction

Gear: Canon G12, no tripod, no lenses, no flash, no remote, no cases or bags!

Beautiful country indeed and a tuff shot under those weather conditions. The Columbia river is one of my favorite playgrounds for photo, fishing and family beach time activities. That river is getting very wide by the time it gets to Astoria Oregon. The Astoria / Meagler bridge is just a tad over 4 miles long. Up near the head waters where these shots took place it looks like a small river by comparison. Thanks for sharing. It's literally been decades since I visited in that area.

It was the only day I was at this location and the weather was on/off rain. Got a little wet waiting for a break to get this much. You're right, the OEV sucked by itself. Thanks for checking it out and commenting...
