Josh,

I queried your abbreviation as I did not know what it meant. Wiki just rambled
on about TV standards/definition when I looked it up. So, Im still none the wiser
and I guess many others are in the same boat.

I know about the youtube icons, but thanks for the explanation. Others may not.

Whenever I open SNS I get a Security Message saying do you want open this file. Looking at the details it says it is an Unknown Publisher. I just OK it and use SNS but was wondering is it only me who gets this and therefore have I done something wrong during setup

SNS files are signed with a certified key. SNS-HDR Home.exe file has a defined publisher.

Sorry Pebal does that mean I shouldn't be getting this message? If so what do I need to do to clear it

Hi, I think you need to turn OFF UAC (that little annoying popup that shows and says "Do you want to allow etc etc)
To do this if you are on a Windows 7 machine.
Right-click an application that is not likely to have been assigned an administrative token, such as a word processing application.
(in your case SNS-HDR)

Click Properties, and then select the Compatibility tab.

Under Privilege Level, uncheck Run this program as an administrator, and then click apply and OK.

If it does not work and you are unsure just reverse it back.
Hope this does the trick
Russ.

Josh,

Just got round to viewing your tutorial. Brilliant stuff, just seeing something done practically helps tremendously. Thank you for the considerable effort that you must have put into this video and for posting it.

Regards,

Paul

Hi Russ

Thanks for that but when I followed your instructions Run as Administrator was unchecked, checking it has results in me getting two warnings before I can open SNS, the one above followed by a one asking if I want to allow this program to change my computer.

I presume i am the only one getting this problem

ElBeardo
