Russ,

Thanks for bringing it up. SNS is a great HDR software package but I am only scratching the surface when I use it and would like to be able to do much more. I am sure that as it's popularity increases we will see tutorials being produced that will be of benefit to us all. I look forward to Provo,s video.

In the meantime, thanks to Sebastian (Pebal) for SNS!

Regards,

Paul

Hi, Again!!
Some help please.
I am trying to find the white balance tool, watched the videos, sat for an hour but no luck.
When I export from Lightroom to SNS-HDR I get a message that I am using SNS-HDR PRO/HOME and some settings may be disabled but I purchased the FULL version so why are some settings disabled?
Also when I go to SNS-HDR application in the export menu of lightroom and click on select when I choose desktop to choose an application SNS-HDR does not show but the icon is on the desk top
Thanks
Russ

Russ,

The videos are for an earlier version of SNS.

Cannot help you on Lightroom, I don't have it.

Hi, Thanks I found out about the L/R plug-in and that is working fine.
But surely he did not remove the option of a white balance tool that you can see in part three of the videos?

Russ, I cannot see it. I suggest you send a PM to Pebal and ask him.

The Pro version does not accept the processing parameters on the command line. The processing parameters must be set in the SNS-HDR Pro.

I have been playing about with SNS for about a week now and am very impressed with the results as they come out of the box so to speak but decided today to look at the Michael James tutorials to see what else I could learn. I have to admit I was blown away by how comprehensive this piece of software is. I have to admit I am not sure I understand or will want to use all of the facilities, a bit like photoshop but it is nice to know they are there.

On the more mundane side I was very impressed with the screen layout used in the tutorial with the image on the left and the various panels being scrolled through on the right, as I found the panels all over the place a bit messy.

I can get all the panels on the left or right with tabs down the side, but when you click on a tab the panels open up side by side, so if you open them all the image size is greatly reduced. I can also get all the panels into one panel with tabs at the bottom but the tabs are now so small that the name has been shortened to ...

Ideally I would like to be able to put all the panels on one side and scroll through as in the Michael James Tutorial. Now I realise that this is an older version of the software but does anybody know if this can still be achieved?

ElBeardo, What is your screen resolution?
