Default In the Hood

Three images of a driveway over a creek in my neighborhood. These were shot today about 90 minutes before sunset. Each year I promise myself to shoot this with the trees in bloom and for one reason or another never do. These are five shot exposures +- .3 ev.

Critiques and comments are welcomed and encouraged.

Ray

I know exactly what you mean. Spring comes and disappears suddenly. I think the last one is my favorite because of the way the sun is hitting the trees.

I agree. I don't think I have ever seen trees like that. They have a white leaf? Very unique tree I most say.

I agree too. The light on the blossoms is lovely.

Our trees are just starting to open their blossoms now...can't wait.

Great series, I really like the composition of the last image. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for all the comments! These are pear trees and are about finished blooming. The forecast was for rain and that would have finished the flowers, so it was now or next year.

I really like these - especially #2 and #3.

Hi Ray, this is a beautiful series. I'm in agreement with several of the others her - # 3 is the best. The open gate and driveway / road almost lend it a 3d effect.
