Does NOT fit in a breadbox. Also, the
Mystery Object is not really an object,
so it's a "Mystery Thing". Therefor it is
NOT edible, wearable, etc, etc. It is a
fairly popular "thing", but OTOH due it
not being an object, I can't offer you
the old "You probably have one", cuz
that just won't fit. But you prolly have
had your share of such a thing every
now and again.

an OBJECT ? The Mystery Thing is
"a thing but not an object". Could
even say it's not just a "thing" but
is "really something" !

Here's another image clue, giving some sense of
scale ... altho rather lacking in detail:

Here's another image clue, that if your mind
goes down an "atmospheric" path would only
reinforce that idea. Maybe I just don't know
how to intentionally render "air/atmosphere"
but am pretty good at doing it by accident ?

I would say that the guesses of "atmosphere"
and "static electricity" are, in a loose sense,
pointing really vaguely down the path to the
solution ... emphasis on "really vaguely", as
in "not toadally opposite" ! Air is, in some
way, involved with the Mystery Thing.

So here's another "airy" clue:
