Default GTCU #1961

Here is GTCU #1961. Not prime, nor does it have a particularly interesting prime factorization, but, in certain type faces, it is one of the few numbers that reads the same upside down. My mother pointed out this fact to me shortly after the year 1961 began. Aside from her part-time job at the time as a substitute teacher, this was one of the few times I remember her showing any special interest in number theory.

This particular mystery object does indeed fit inside a bread box. Here is the first view to puzzle over for a while:

32 looks but no guesses. Let's try another visual clue:

Keep in mind that, despite appearances, the mystery object does indeed fit into a bread box, and that a "close-up" can also be a true macro, i.e., the image formed inside the camera is at least as big as the object itself. This is even before the enlargement necessary to view this image on your monitor. Although the final reveal is not a macro in this sense, and cannot be, unless I use a large-format camera, which I didn't, many of the other shots are indeed true macros including the two so far revealed. The ones other than the final reveal that are not true macros are taken at 1:2 magnification or bigger, which still makes them macros according to more modern convention.

A bottle of hair care product? I have seen gels on the store shelf that have bubbles suspended in them. It is like you're buying air (or less product per bottle).

This particular product has only a few such bubbles in it. And FWIW, these products are usually sold by weight and not by volume anyway, so a few bubbles in your hair gel doesn't mean you are getting less product than the label says. You could probably get the mystery product stuff at the same store as the hair gel, but you wouldn't want to put it on your hair.

Michael is right, but I am fresh out of ingredients for chicken dinners and tired of chicken anyway.
