Welcome to GTCU#1955

Attachment 268125

MO is nothing you haven't seen before, not
that it tends to grab your attention ... thaz
acoarst why I chose it.

Seen in public spaces, not a household thing.

Related to similar things that will not fit in
a GTCU Standard Breadbox but this example
will fit in there.

Neither uses nor produces electricity.

No exotic materials involved.

Not edible.

Thanks to Morgan and Linda for opening things up.

But both of of you are waaaaay off, so here's a bit
more expanded view of the same thing.

Everything in the frame is a part of the MO. If you
approximately doubled the field of view, then you
begin to see non-MO background.

BTW, pix are in glorious full color :-)

BTW, beware of tricky figure-ground delusions.

In a breadbox ?

This also looks a bit automotive,
but keep in mind the breadbox ;-)

It is somewhat the worse for wear,
and that is not unusual for the MO.

Don't try to figger out the pattern
of lines and colors. It's absolutely
NOT specific to the solution.

I have seen various odd things recruited for
the use to which the MO is usually put. Not
that I've seen a cookie tin used in the exact
purpose but it's just as likely a candidate as
many odd items that I have seen in use ... a
wine [or champagne] bucket comes to mind
[without the ice and bottle]. It served well :-)

The new use of the MO, or other items that
may ... or may not ... have originally been
made as containers, is not as a container.

The MO originated, in a similar form, for a
different purpose than the current purpose
[and in neither use as a container]. There's
verrrrrrry little difference between the MO
and its earlier form ... 95% the same. The
old form was pressed into use for today's
purpose ... then it evolved, very slightly.
