I'm gonna say a cowbell mounted on a drum kit.

I just did a review of all the clues. They're all good ones, but I don't know how he figured it out! Maybe he mounted one on his drum set before... Good game.

I'm going to invite myself to Michael's to watch the next game with him.

The dancers in posts 1 and 16 were just
stuff I encountered looking for the cow
bell gif that I wanted for announcing the
win. Salsa and cow bell are inseparable
and salsa shows are pretty hawt stuff. I
didn't intend to offend Alan :-( .... nor
anyone else for that matter.

Unfortunately the [famous] cow bell gif
hadda get reduced to a jpg, due to the
size of the gifs being rejected by Camel
Forum software.

Wellll ... now that I'm not distracted by
all the salsa dancers, I've found a small
enuf gif that the forum software allows
it to be posted.

Ta - Daaa !

I don't have a drum kit of my own, but I've set up a few in my life. The mounting hardware with the knurling was what clued me in. The cowbell is about the only thing that will fit in a breadbox, next to the drumsticks.

I worked as a roady in my late teens for a band in the DC area right around the time the drinking age was raised to 21. I missed the grandfathering by one month. Being with the band enabled me to get any drink I wanted without question.
