Ascorbic acid is what keeps fruits and vegetables from turning brown. Ascorbic acid is vitimin C and citrus fruits abound in it.

Okay then. I'll add lemon juice to my forte of pumpkin tools.
Karma to both of you for pointing that one out.

And yes, I will try it out this year on one of my pumpkins.

Hey, the guy on THIS website says that he uses WD40 to keep his pumpkins fresh!! He said that it's not flamable after you spray it on and let it dry... (he said that as long as you don't spray the WD40 on while you have the lit candle inside, you'll be fine! LOL)

Wait! YOU didn't take a PHOTO?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! What is this world turning to?

Thanks Athena. The pumpkins I used for the Pirate Ship and the Cats were rather small.
If I didn't have to shrink down the pattern to fit them, they would have looked even better (In my opinion anyway).

Here's a photo of the four pumpkins together just to show the difference in sizes.

OdzBodkinz, cool carvings. Thanks for Sharing.
