Dreaded Pirate Roberts....I Love that. That is one of my all time favorite movies.

This is from Blazing Saddles. If you don't know the movie, Mongo is the lackey/goon of the bad guy and does only what he is told. He has the mentality of a four year old. When asked a simple question by the good guy, he spouts out probably the most prophetic line of the whole movie.

Then of course, there is "Abbey Somebody" from another Mel Brooks movie, Young Frankenstein.
When Igor (pronounced Eye-gore) gets the wrong brain for the monster. Dr. Frankenstein asks,
"Who's brain is it?"
Igor replies "Abbey Somebody"
Dr. Frankenstein "Abbey Who?"
Igor "Abbey Normal"
Two of my favorite movies - sooo many good lines.

Forgot where I found the first one but there was no name next to it.

"No man stands taller than when he kneels to help the fallen."

And one of my all time favorites.

"Congressmen who willfully take actions during wartime that damage morale and undermine the military
are saboteurs and should be arrested, exiled, or hanged." President Abraham Lincoln

Here are a few more classics from Blazing Saddles.

"You've got to remember that these are just simple farmers. These are people of the land. The common clay of the new West. You know... morons."

Lyle: How 'bout more beans, Mr. Taggart?
Taggart: [fans his hat in the air] I'd say you had enough!

Charlie: They said you was hung.
Bart: They was right.

Even more Blazing Saddles:

Bart: [on grandstand to the townspeople] Excuse me while I whip this out.

Taggart: [the lynch mob comes across a toll-booth in the middle of the desert] Someone's gotta go back for a shit-load of dimes!

Bart: Are we awake?
Jim: We're not sure. Are we black?
Bart: Yes, we are.
Jim: Then we're awake, but we're very puzzled.

From "What's Up, Doc?" - (1971)

Judy - 'Love means never saying sorry.' (Blinks eyes )
Howard - (Stares ) 'That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard.'

Barbra Streisand (Judy) ad-libed to Ryan O'Neal (Howard) who just finished "Love Story". This movie also had the funniest car chase I have ever seen in a movie. This movie also introduced Madeline Kahn to movie fans. The same Madeline Kahn that was in "Blazing Saddles", "Young Frankenstein", and "The History of the World, Part I".
