Thanks Dacoda.. It gets really hot around July/August; 50C degrees is very common..

Does anyone ever actually see their desktop? 99% of the time I have an app loaded taking up the whole screen. Even on my 24" LCD I sometimes find that's not enough - especially for photo editing stuff.

I see mine when the PC starts up, when the PC shuts down, and when someone asks me to post it on a photography forum in a 'Show us your desktop' post
