Playing outside and not having to be in visual range of a parent.

Hot day, and drinking even hotter water from the garden hose.

Original TV Shows and movies, and not remakes. TV shows that were just fun to watch. They didnt have a message every week.

Saturday morning cartoons!!!

Books made of paper.

Skies not filled with light pollution

Meticulously dubbing your favorite songs off of the radio onto cassette tapes. And the jr. high/high school mating ritual of creating mix-tapes for that girl/guy you like!

Don't think that programming a playlist for someone has the same meaning!

Oh god no... 20 minutes of selecting songs vs. spending weeks running down hallways and jumping over couches to hit "Record" in time...

Or doing that to record tv shows off the tv. Hitting pause on commercial breaks, and hoping you hit pause on time again so you didnt miss anything.

Pay phones are already disappearing, and I think thats a major mistake. If you get mugged or robbed, they always take your cell phone. How do you contact someone in an emergency, then?
