Default S2 Pro + MB-16 Grip

Hi all has anyone here used the Nikon MB-16 grip on their S2. I found a few references to this grip and a few how to mod it pics here and there.

the mb 16 has to be modified tofit the s2. you can however find s2 grips on ebay for about 35-40 dollars us

I have seen those. I found an MB-16 local for 25.00 I thought I might give the modifications a try.

you have to extend the contacts to fit the s2

I read somewhere tinfoil or small springs.

picked up the MB-16 today and did the minor mods as I found online. Works very well. Did not need to add to the top contacts it has a good connection.

Here is the finished project. Modifications took approx 15mins and works great.
