No!

I own two medium format Fuji rangefinders that Fuji abandoned.

I own three Fuji S5 DSLR bodies that Fuji abandoned.

I wanted to buy a Fuji X100 but gave up on the purchase when Fuji could not get them to market in a timely fashion.

Unless Fuji markets a dSLR that is a quantum leap above their excellent S5, I will probably never buy another Fuji again.

Although the S5 is getting pretty outdated now. TBH, I don't think there ever will be a new Fuji DSLR, since they are so obsessed with CSSs but it would be interesting if they did...

Well, I did not buy another Fuji digital SLR; but last month, I did buy an X-Pro1 to add to my Fuji arsenal.

Despite any abandonments by Fuji, there's no reason
to avoid the excellent [your word] S5, nor any other
Nikon F-mount Fuji, assuming that it sells for a really
appropriately silly low price. It's got an F-mount and
at the right price, it's disposable. Can't lose.

Form self I would not buy a Fujifilm dslr. I enjoy shooting with the Fujifilm X series to much

I'm happy with my Nikon dslr's but I do love my X Pro1 as a walk around camera.

I'm seriously considering getting rid of my dslr and getting a Fuji XTi. They've got some excellent x mount lenses, quality is as good as any as far as I can see...

A Fuji X100T is a great tool for "fixed" shooting, and the XT1 is a great alternative to the Olympus mirrorless models if you want that size and keep the interchangeable aspects... If I wasn't already invested in Oly mirrorless, I'd be a Fuji shooter probably.

Thaz bcoming a very common sentiment. The alternatives to
SLRs are evolving and multiplying at quite a pace, while SLRs
are done evolving and are now substituting detail changes and
excessive model proliferation for real evolution.

As to your specific choice, the XT1 is about as highly evolved
as these things get ... at the moment, acoarst.

More and more megapixels which most of us don't need anyway...
