My sentimental favorite is a Contax IIa Zeiss Opton 50mm/f:1.5. It was the first "really good" camera I ever owned. Bought it at an Army PX in Korea in l952. Still have it and still use it occasionally; and the lens is dead sharp, even wide open.

My current favorite is a Contax RTS II (also no youngster) for which I have a nice selection of Zeiss glass.

Also have a Contax Aria which is small, reliable and very light weight.

Cheers\Mike

Oh, I have a sentimental attachment to my Pentax K1000... I learned all the basics on this cam!

I have a couple of sentimental favorites that I still use occasionally. 1932 Kodak Recomar 3 1/4 X 4 1/4 cut film with Carl Zeiss optics. The other I use fairly often, a 1960 Voigtlander Bessamatic SLR with a 50 and a 135 Scopar lens. The Bessamatic was the worlds first camera utilizing a zoom lens (don't have that one though). I scan my 35 mm film and digitize it though.

Canon Elan 7NE.

Fantastic camera for the money, very underrated. Incredible low light AF. Just love the size, features and handling of the little camera.

I found a Miranda Sensorex EE at a garage sale that I bought for $15.00. The light meter didn't work so it was truly a manual camera. I learned how film speed, aperture, and shutter speed related to each other with it, and it took pretty good photos. To bad lenses are very hard to find or I would still be using it. I now use a Canon AV-1 and sometimes a Canon FX. I have a Canon A-40 digital that I use for work (construction) but the SLR film cameras take the serious photos.

Canon T90 - Should've never sold it.

Fast, Ergonomic and a tremendous amount of fun.
