Would be fun but the 127 roll film is pricey.

Cool. I have that very same camera. You can get 127 in black & white, color print and even E-6 slides. The films are pricey but shoot 2 or 3 rolls a year and enjoy hat little monster!

I got a 100ft bulk roll of 46mm Portra and re-roll my own.

All well and good but just where pray tell can one get film or slides developed these days. There are NO more store (camera) around here, and I am just too old to set up a darkroom these days. Walgreens says 3 weeks

A nice find.
Reminds me of the Rolleicord I once had.

It's raison d'etre is to shoot E6 for projection.

For film-to-prints, the format is not noticeably
larger than 35mm once cropped to a rectangle.

BUT ... with E6 127 you got the largest chip of
trans film that could be loaded into a Carousel.
There is so little cardboard mount surrounding
a 127 slide, rendering it rather flimsy, that you
needed a very gentle type of projector, or else
the mechanism would just crunch it up.

And Walgreens won't return your film. All you get is a low resolution scan. Hardly a reason to go through the trouble and expense to shoot 127.

I have a 44LM. Looks cute next to my 124G.
