Default 70mm-film for slides needed

Hello to all here,
I am a German photographer who used the Hasselblad 70mm-Magazin for around 20 years. Specially I took my photos in the Philippines. I used Kodak Ektachrome 64 (EPR 475). Now I need a new film good for slides. Kodak informed me that they don't produce and they don't have any film-material in 70mm-size to sell. So now I am looking around in the world to find another slide-film good for this magazine. It must not be Kodak. I would be happy if I could get any slide film for my magazine. I hope that a sales-company or sales shop in Hongkong could sell it to me. Here it is said: "if you can't buy your tool in the world, go to Hongkong there you will find your shop where you can buy it!"
Hope that somebody of this forum could help me.
Thanks in advance!
Regards,
Wolfgang

This may not help you as they don't have it in stock, and it's not slide film but it says on their website they are taking orders. Film You might contact them and find out whether they expect to actually get any more.
Good luck

Then I would try Fuji Europe, and Fuji head-office.

Thank you for your help. They are offering Kodak Ektachrome 64 in 220-size. Better than nothing or 120-films. I am holding also a Hasselblad magazin for this kind of film. So I could use films good for 24 shots instead of 12.

I send a request to let them know that I am interested to buy my wanted 70mm-film. So now I must wait for an answer.
Thank you for your help!
Regards,
Wolfgang

I wrote my email to the German brach of Fuji and asked for help. If they don't sell it it Germany they should be so kind to ask other branches of Fuji in the world.

Surely it could be not wrong to send an email also to Japan.

Don't automatically assume they would.

Of course not. Only you don't know if they actually did that. So, to make sure: do it yourself.

It may help if you sent a CC of your request for information to Fuji's PR departments (in Europe and Japan) as well as to the Sales departments.

Hello,
my search for 70mm-reversial film good for slides shows me now that it is sold out in the world. Either Kodak or Fuji produces it or they can give me hints where I could get it. Even shops and/or stores in Hongkong don't have rests of this kind of film. I must give up to try to buy it. Now I must search for rests of type 220-film. Also this kind of film good for slides is not produced now. They sell the rests. It is truely tragic! Only type 120 will be produced by Kodak. So it is said to me.
My idea for the future: to ask a specialist to prepare my 70mm-Hasselblad magazin in a way so that I can use type 120-films b u t then I will ask Kodak (maybe Fuji) for a special order. Naturally Kodak produces this kind of film very long at first, later on it will be cutten into regular type-120 size. So I hope that they accept an order for a long film (30m or longer) on one reel. And later on it is easy to cut it to 5 meter and use it in the special prepared old Hasselblad magazin (70mm) now good for a film of a little bit more than 6 cm width.
Hope this runs!
Thank you for helping me!
Regards!
Wolfgang
