Beautiful portraits. My Fav is number 3, something about her eyes really captivates.

Outstanding series, overall excellent lighting. Hand placement in #3 is one that I would use emulating this portrait. #3 bestows an almost childlike innocence of a young woman coming of age. Being picky: my only critique is in #1, picture right, across the bridge of her nose is a little hot, blending with the left cheek. Karma

Thanks everyone for the kind words.

I'd agree with the 'hot nose' - I'll attribute that to not being careful enough - was going for soft, and a higher contrast - and missed that.

And as far as the 'young woman coming of age' - you're absolutely right - she won't be 18 until the fall.

No 2 is very evocative, of an innocencent reflection.

What a great set, is she a model as she has done a fantastic job of giving you something fantastic to shoot. All 3 shots are great #1 with the soft light is something i would like to try after seeing the results you have got. #3 is a classic fashion portrait done well the pose and the expression are fantastic. #2 is my least favourite and whilst you exicuted the shot well i find the lighting not to my taste.

I love the lighting and b/w conversion in #1 but no a fan of the hand on her shoulder. The lighting is good and conversion is good in #2 also but the pose is a bit off. #3 is great! I love the tight crop and intimate eye contact.
