Default Kyanna

Using 6 Bowens lights for this one. Two rim, one hair with grid, one background and beauty dish/strip dome for clam shell.

Nice shot JT. I love the subtle background lighting. Did you use the 70-200 f/4?

No, I used an old cheap chimpy bimbo of a lens. The 35-70 nikkor 3.3-4.5 lens that I picked up off an old Nikon film camera body. I don't mine using it with my S3. It pairs up nicely. Sharp enough and I never had any problem with it. I rarely use it and primarily use an 85 religiously, but I was working in a tight space here.

Thanks JT. You could have used a modified coke bottle and it would not matter - you got the shot. I took a look at your EXIF and could not determine the lens.

IMO, everything is nice about this portrait, the lighting, the pose, the exposure and, of course, the model!

I love the shot. As a novice, I am wondering if that hot spot on right side of face and shoulder blade is acceptable. Lovely model. Look for more to come.
