Default My First Model Post Here.

I don't do a lot of model photography, mostly portrait type work. But thought I'd share these.

Technical info....Nikon D700 camera...Top photo, 70-200mm 2.8 Nikon lens. Second photos, Sigma 12-24mm lens. Both shot with SB800 flash off camera in 24" softbox.
Third shot.....Same camera, 70-200mm 2.8 lens, on camera flash

I like the lighting in the top two images. Well done.

IN first the white line in bg distracts....well used flash light.
2nd is stunning...3rd a bit underexposed, so the 4th....Still I feel in model photography, makeup's role cannot be denied...as in 4th the face needs...may be a boxer. thnx.

First, welcome.

Second, I like # 1 and #2 is stunning.

I do agree that 3 is a bit underexposed and needed a bit more fill to counteract the backlighting. 4 interests me but I might try to figure out how not to block her face with her hands. Still, I like the concept.

Please keep posting

One and two are great. The third one is under exposed a bit and the last one has potential but shoot it less tight with he hands and gloves.

Welcome to the site.
Beautiful series.
my only nit would be to do a tighter crop on #3.

Nice work! I don't think the 3rd one is underexposed, I just think maybe you need to pull up the blacks a little bit. I like the richness of the darker tones otherwise.

#3 I like the best, though I wish it was a tighter crop.

The sunset photo is super nice. Excellent lighting. Maybe a little closer/tighter on your model - as a suggestion.

This may just be my personal preference but I would have preferred a warmer light for the sunset shot.
