Gear: Canon 5D &40d(gripped), Sigma 70-200 f2.8, Canon 24-70 L,85 f1.8, Speedlights, and Elinchrom 500BxRi, D2 & D4 kit, 22" Speedotron BD, Kacey grid, 53" Elinc Octo, Explorer XT battery

Editing okay. if you can, tell me what you did on the edit though.

I like the skintone and shadow detail of two on the background from 1
On the pose I personally would have preferred the back foot crossed over the extended leg

I think Bobby Deal is right. If I had to pick one, I'd say #2. I like seeing the hair & shadow detail better.

Spot on Bobby - the second one is the nicer for colour and contrast but the background colour doesn't sit well with the image.

I like #2 better - warmer, plus it doesn't have the vignette like #1.

#2 is my choice. #1 is just cold looking but as others have said the BG in #1 is better.
