Default First try at shooting a model

OK so this is my first time shooting a model (as opposed to people I know like friends and family). Plan to use these in my portfolio for high school senior portraits. Any and all comments/critiques are welcome! Thanks for checking these out.

1 and 3 for me as well. the others seem to be a bit off colour ?? not sure why or how but just seem a little off to me. Having said that no 1 really does pop

I think #3 is great. In #4, I don't like the tilt or the extremely tight crop (cropping to the top of her head in a full body shot is unwarranted - give her some head room).

Number 2 is very good. The colour looks off in #3; perhaps too much green reflected from foliage.

Cheers

#1 is best, however the necklace makes it look funny

Also Benji's
Rule # 12. Proper Eye Direction-Generally speaking, in males the eyes should follow the direction of the nose.* For females there should be slightly more whites of the eyes on one side than on the other.*

Rule 12a. The eyes should never be turned so far in their sockets that there is no white area on one side, and you should not shoot into the whites of the eyes.* A slightly higher camera angle will give more whites at the bottom than at the top which is more appealing in images of young females.*

#1 is my favorite. Something about #2 just seems a little unflattering to the model to me.
