Nice concept although there appears to be something sticking out of her belly and I am sure it is not her belly-button.

Seriously, what is that?

I've done a couple maternity shoots, and haven't encountered that.

The maturnity genre never did anything for me, but this is one of the best, and a lot of that has to do with the set. Where in the world did you shoot it?

I have to do my first (and probably only) maturnity photos for my daughter in a couple of weeks, likely will have to use muslin in a cramped living room. I'm thinking about a similar material wrap except black blending into black background. I won't see the site of the shoot until I get there.

Interested in knowing what that is near the belly button, also where do you find a set like that? Beautiful location and lighting.

Awesome shot. Really a unique but entirely appropriate contribution to this genre.

The lighting was done with just one light and a beauty dish. What is coming out of her belling button is called a navel. Google it.
