Default Some Novice Studio Work

If you know my stuff, you usually see outdoor, natural light. However, I was getting itchy during the cold months so I rented a small studio and found this beautiful model who is also a great person.

I was expecting disaster and I got a lot of that but a few came out okay, so here is Catherine in the Studio. Click the first image for the entire gallery:

C&C is ALWAYS fine with me.

Oh hey, that's a good idea. Didn't even know it was an option!

first picture: OH! You blew out her white shirt against the white background.
second picture: ya know, her necklace is crooked. I can't take my eyes off the necklace now.
3rd: dirty shoe marks all under her.
Those are the things that bother me. I'm not technical enough to see anything else. Looks good enough to me.

Thanks guys.

Fey, on my monitor, the shirt is all there. Nothing blown. Curious what others see. As to all the rest, you are, of course, correct.

That's funny, huh. Yeah, the shoulder on my left, (which would be her right shoulder) and most of her arm is just gone, disappeared into the background. Have you printed it?

Nice set! I don't think the 1st one is that bad and the sweater can be fixed so it doesn't blend into the background so much. But i can still see the whole arm, not sure why the other poster can't. The only thing I really notice that bothers me is the 4th image where the knee is straight on making it big and distracting?
Thanks for sharing.

My thoughts too!

looks like a great way to spend your cold winter!

Tomorrow I hope to be shooting in a warm creek, here down under, no frostbite, just leeches to worry about

Great shots, nice lighting just the model looks a bit stiff in the neck on 2 and last shots.
