I'm off to buy a mac , nah maybe when I get CS. does CS use more resources than PSE6?

Not in my experience. But on some machines it's hard to notice.

AMD 64 FX-62 DC, ASUS M2N32 SLI MOBO, 4 gig DDR2 800Mhz, XP Pro x64, water cooled for the processor and the graphics card, and a Ge Force 9800. Sata 300 HD for operating system drive.

And the result is....... 14.27 sec +/-.1 for being a human. While my GPU got up to 62 degrees C, my CPU runs at a solid 42C with a voltage of 1.36v

47.41 secs. CS3 . Mine must be doing other things as well (calculating pi in the background).

AMD 64X2 4200+ 3GB RAM 1.5TB OS: Vista Home

I tried this on both the fastest and the slowest computers I have:

3 ghz OctoMac: <1 second

900 mhz G3 iBook: 3 hours, 48 minutes LOL
