Well......

1.30Ghz no-name brand cheapie laptop, XP Media centre, outlook, web browser etc open, upgraded to 2gig ram, PSE6 - 2:04:47 (I mean 2min 4 sec etc) . Not bad I guess, would like it to be like some of the others though ~20sec sounds cool. Would hate to try it on the oldest (assembled) PC I have, a Pentium 2, 233mhz, win 98, 64mb ram laptop . (Oldest parts I have include a 33MHz processor and mobo so suit but no ram to test, Includes SCSI on board, Was a old QANTAS airlines terminal).

Are you sure you don't have one of those computers from the stone age? Like one that the Flintstones would have had?
I'll bet that little bird in there has worn it's beak down to a nub trying to chisel out that image for you.

Your right, I forgot to feed the bird. Now I have to get a new one. Do you have the elephant vacuum handy

I tried this on an 8 core macpro in the shop today - 4gb ram
it came in at less than a second...
even if I made the image 10x bigger it was blazing.
my macbook pro, 2.33ghz 2gb ram was 45 seconds

needless to say, I was impressed...

Rob
