Articles all over the Tech world are discussing YouTube's announcement about ending Flash and implementing HTML5. This has been the plan for several years now and finally YouTube is ready for the change.

Great. Now maybe others will follow suit. Flash really is a pile of plop.

Yes indeed! Dan.

Even though this news won't mean anything to most photographers here, they should keep this in mind if they are trying to do DIY websites and fill it with Flash content.
Flash is resource intensive. Others will follow suit eventually and those who use DIY sites may have a choice later on content layout.
Just my guess here but something to keep in mind.
