The current one is Nvidia Geforce 580. And it's giving me L (hell in Australian accent). I give up. Updated drivers as soon as the come out, yet it's still a big headache.

So what's the current version of that card.

Are you looking for a newer card with comparable performance, or are you thinking about the card in the current Geforce family that would land about where the GTX 580 was placed back in 2010 (second from the top?) ?

I'm running a GTX 570 that I bought used ... haven't had a lick of trouble with it driving a pair of wide gamut 24" screens - 1920x1200.

A few minutes on the newegg site ...
The GTX 780 can be had for a similar price point as the GTX 580 was when new. They've got a number of cards that are a whole-lot pricier. Since the 580 replaced the 480, the 780 may be two generations up.

Wow, the GeForce GTX 780 is a $500 card That's way more than I need. I don't play video games. Heck, I've never even seen a video game before.

Oh. Didn't know that. Guess I have to adjust my expectation regarding prices.

Thanks for the help and effort, Mr.Z
