Martin

Once photography enters your bloodstream, it is like a disease.

Software: Too numerous to list but my most used utility is ShiftN for perspective correction

Gear: Canon G12, no tripod, no lenses, no flash, no remote, no cases or bags!

If it's a boxed version, you should be able to download it from Adobe's site, install it and then activate it with the license # on the box.
- The DVD may be damaged.
- DVD may be a Win version instead of Mac. Packing accidents do happen
- For some reason you Mac wont read the DVD / CD in the format it was written.
If you try a number of things / hardware and can't get it working, the best option is to call Adobe as Martin has suggested.
Cheers, Murray

Clean the disk with a clean soft cloth, check for scratches - worth a try!

Also, have you tried another cd to eliminate a hardware problem?

It might be a DVD, if so the cd will eject it.

The type of computer is Irrelevant. DVD drives will also typically read CD's and CD's will not read DVD's.
