My note. It's like a phone and a tablet. I can take calls, read a book, listen to music, and tether my camera, just about all at the same time.

For me, it's my smartphone which is comfortable and easy to carry from one to another place.

For me, it depends on the situation.

I carry my phone with me everywhere, and use it a lot more than the tablet, which might indicate it's my favorite of the two. Beyond phone calls, it's great on the go for checking email, social media updates, a quick snapshot, and the many tools that are useful when the need arises, from the calculator and calendar, to the alarm clock that tells me every day when it's time to take my meds, etc., to quick lookups on the web for price comparisons at stores, to the grocery list app I use, and so forth. Strictly on the go and for quick updates and tools, I'd say the phone is my favorite.

But for some things, the 10.5" tablet I have far excels for me, like for reading or playing games or watching videos or using as a monitor for my DSLR while shooting. If I know I'm going to be in a situation where I'll be waiting around a bit for someone or something, I always take my tablet to read the latest book I'm working on or entertain me for longer periods. In those situations, the tablet is definitely my favorite.
