Are you still having that trouble? Sorry to hear that.

its the entire screen right? did you try another cable, swap monitors etc. like jhthurman suggested before? If so, are you still using the swapped out cable, Monitor?

Are you hooked up with a VGA analog connection (either end of the cable), or a white digital DVI connection (at both ends)?

Please provide a list of porn sites you visited prior to this starting so we can track down which malicious program you inadvertently now have infecting your computer.

Ok seriously, It sounds like a controller issue. The first thing would be to isolate whether it is a monitor issue or pc issue. If you have a spare monitor hook it up and use it a few days. If the issue does not come back it is in all likely hood a monitor issue. If it does come back then it is probably a pc issue and can be a bit more difficult to track down yourself.

And Ill also add: If a different cable/monitor doesn't work....
  • Change your monitor resolution to see if there's a SLIGHT chance of a fix.
  • You could try restarting in Safe Mode to load the generic video driver. (Tap the F8 Key during bios splash screen when computer starts, arrow down to Safe Mode). If that resolves the issue, then uninstalling and updating your video driver is needed.
Those are the easy fixes and if it works, your lucky.
Like Gryphon pointed out, it could be a Controller/Hardware issue.
