![]() Pretty good job. You got the colors and contrast right, but I seem to remember the center high light being more like a smoke cloud bursting through. Also the paint is not applied as round shapes. One of the best ways to describe it is storm clouds.
How did you make this one? I took the Lamar Williamson class on painting backgrounds and we used rags, sponges, and just big old 4 inch brushes depending on the look we were going for. |

![]() I'm not really sure what to show you. I suppose I could redo the work and maybe try to do it better, and then possibly record the work in Camtasia. But I have some important things to attend to. I may get around to it, (I have plenty of square and triangular tuits, and even a hexagaonal one here and there, but round ones are rare!
![]() I suppose I should rephrase my statement about recreating any Old Masters. I would be better saying I can create my OWN with little effort! When you think about it, when you replace a background digitally, it can be blurred to your exact specifications to taste. I create a sharp background usually, and then do a Gaussian Blur to get it the way I want it. Here is one I did a while ago. |

![]() Ok I figured it out.
In photoshop create a new file say a 8X10 inch at 300 PPI. Then pick two colors. Then go under Filter, Render, Clouds. ![]() It took me about 30 seconds to make this. 12 |

![]() Here's a quick edition using a black cloud rendering plus layers of the colors, and various blurring and blending.
I think at this point, I will call this my last effort. |

![]() Hey Dave,
Could you send me a large resolution file of your first effort, please? You can send it via Dropbox. If you don't have drop box yet, let me know and I will send you an invitation . That gives us both more free storage. |
