I have recently installed CS5 on OSX and had the same problem with not getting access to my NIK plugs.
I tried changing PS to 32 bit but still couldn't see them.
The I went under preferences>plugins and added an extra plugin folder to that of my previously installed PS CS3 plugin folder, and they're all back and working great!

Hope this helps somebody!
Cheers!
If I understand this correctly (kinda sleepy, right now, and about to lay it down ), you're saying that all a CS5 owner has to do is to add an additional plugin folder into the program's installed plugin folder and - voila - their Nik plugins should show? That would really be sweet. I am currently utilizing mine in Lightroom 3, which is ok, but I would really like to have them (as well as some of my other plugins) properly registered in CS5.

Thanks for the heads up ohenry. I logged in, downloaded the software, and then run the install. Worked great. Put the plugins in both the 32 and 64 bit versions of Photoshop.
