Default I was actually surprised at Gimp 2.

While at my parents house in Florida I wanted to play around with some images I shot. My CS4 was up in Ohio so I tried Gimp 2 and downloaded it to their computer.

For a free program I was impressed at the number of options. I'll stay with my PS, but I like that there are programs like that out there for free.

I tried GIMP a few years ago, but had no idea how to work it. Then I went and bought PSE6 some time after that, and bought some books on how to work it. Haven't looked back at GIMP.

Good to know that there are alternatives available tho.
