I saw the words knife and razor, and had to come and see what was what.
Excellent display shots of both weapons. Lighting and layout perfect.
Excellent work also on the scales, I know how flimsy they can be.
I'm not a collector, but back in the late 70's through 92, I was a maker, specializing in period reproductions for the North South Skirmish Association.
Mostly all bench made large Bowie's and Arkansas Toothpicks until I moved to the mountains, then it was drop points, skinners, and men and women's boot knives.
It never occurred to me to photograph the knives, and even if it had, I could have never done as outstanding job as you have done.
K coming your way!

Thanks for all the thoughtful comments. If anyone wants to post their photos of knives and razors... feel free to do so without worrying about hijacking anything.
Here is a photo of the first set of scales that I made for a blade made in Solingen called a Morris Collegiate, it came to me with some cheesy white plastic scales. I have no idea if I ruined some collector's item or not, but I fashioned some scales made of curly koa and an ebony wedge. It is a good shaver though.

Mumbo, these are Awesome! very well done. Only thing I could nit pic about is… on the very end on the 2nd blade there are a couple tiny little spots(they are part of the metal grain..if thats such a thing) I'd remove. Good Job!

I shot these with a 100 mm Macro lens with one soft box overhead and and slightly to the rear and a reflector opposite the main light shooting over it with the camera. These don't really fit in the still life category since they aren't really arrangements of objects. C & C would be appreciated.

nice captures although I am not sure if these items are illegal for public use in eec
