Default Broken Arrow .... broken arrow ...

Broken Arrow is a call sign that Canon positions have been overrun by Nikonians and we are calling on all Canonites for support in this, our darkest hour.

May the great one have mercy as we engage the greatest force ever to confront us. When Nikon did battle with Kodak for sensor supremacy, our masters took the division and conquer approach and produced some of the most formidable photographic weaponry ever to grace the digital battlefield.

The resulting annihilation was swift and merciless as within one Olympics season, Kodak, who had stunned the world with 2MP images transmitted around the globe within 60 seconds of a gold win, had been completely and utterly replaced by white lenses with the big Red Canon branding.

We fought on two fronts but we had no enemy left after Nikon defeated Kodak and blasted them back to the one-hour booth from whenst they came, Nikon proved to be their own worst ally, as wave after wave of inferior machines were launched in the vain hope of victory against a much superior force. Nikon machines, broke, gave up, died of water ingression, peeled off their skins, had far too much noise and could not track a slow moving snail. Nikon announced they were leaving the battle field to make low end cameras.

Victory was complete. We had won.

But what a sneaky enemy Nikon turned out to be! After willingly signing a full-frame non proliferation treaty, they had been doing secret development and all their proclamations were a tissue of lies, lies dam lies.

Our new flagship fleet, ostensibly designed as a deterrent, was fully equipped with the latest hi-tech seek and capture devices but sadly are crippled and sitting ducks in the darkening seas of looming battle.

Soon our forces really have to fight something that’s actually superior, though yet to be proven in battle, they are sporting even higher spec technology than we are. Our spies told us nothing of this impending situation but we suspect Nikonian spies may have sabotaged our shipyards and electronic production facilities and has successfully stalled us long enough so we must meet in another battle of Midway ….

So I've a lazy afternoon ...

...one remark, and one remark only:

Anything smaller than 24mm x 36mm is NOT fullframe, whatever the *Fx* you call it!
