Default EF 35mm 1.4 ll

Has anyone shot with both the 1 and ll models of the 35mm 1.4 and how do you feel they compare having a hard time justifying the price difference.

Your best bet is to go to a good brick and mortar store, try them for yourself and decide. I own the 35 mm f1.4 mkll. Wouldn't change. If price is an issue look at the Sigma 35mm 1.4 art lens. Highly thought of lens.
