Answer is: voila' the 7Dmkii. Why? Because it has a faster frame rate, the crop sensor extends your 70-200mm out past 300mm. The sensor is very good low light. I have both 6D and 7Dmkii and can easily handhold either using a Sigma 150-600 for flying birds. I also have the 70-200 F$ L lens and when I mount it to the 7Dmkii it wants to marry it!

* you simply got a bad copy(a very rare thing) of the 6D. They are remarkable cameras.
