Default Storm mayhem at the marina

Pretty fierce wind today. I don't think sailboats belong in these spots: they were torn from their moorage buoys and washed up onto the rocks. Hopefully they won't sustain serious damage to the hulls or keels, but they were being knocked around pretty severely even while I was taking this. Winds were probably gusting to 40 or 50 kph.

Nice series.

Looks like a couple of those sailor boys need a refresher course in "Sailboat Mooring 101".

Well, it looked like the moorage buoys were actually ripped out of their holds. I'm not sure who places those though (ie, if they belong to the marina or the sailboat owners).

Uh oh, that means the attorneys are going to be making some money.

Walt, great series! Did you get any after the storm? Did that sailboat sustain serious damage?
